Pastor William Kumuyi, the General Superintendent of Deeper Christian Life Ministry (DCLM), has been invited to attend the inauguration of Donald Trump as the U.S. president on January 20, 2025.
Reports indicate that Pastor Kumuyi will participate in the historic event and engage in several important meetings afterward. He will join global leaders in Washington, D.C. for Trump’s second and final term inauguration.
“President Trump’s unwavering support for the gospel has earned him recognition not only from American Christians but believers worldwide,” Pastor Kumuyi shared.
He went on to highlight that during Trump’s first term, he hosted the inaugural meeting of foreign ministers focused on international religious freedom. Trump also pledged his commitment to supporting Christian values during his campaign.
While in the U.S., Pastor Kumuyi plans to meet with members of Congress, church leaders, and media representatives to foster faith-based dialogue.
“This historical moment reminds us that faith unites believers across borders. As we come together in Washington, D.C., the global church prays for the continued growth of Christianity and advocates for policies that protect religious liberty,” Kumuyi added.
Pastor Kumuyi, who is already in the U.S. with his wife, Esther, for the event, recently emphasized to his church’s global audience the need for a mindset shift to advance the spread of the gospel.
“We cannot continue in the same ways and expect different outcomes. It’s time to engage with influential leaders to help further the mission of Jesus Christ,” he remarked.
