Daniel Bwala, the Special Adviser to President Bola Tinubu on Policy Communications, has accused former Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, of attempting to undermine the current government.
Bwala’s comments followed El-Rufai’s criticism of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), alleging that the party had abandoned its founding values and failed to deliver effective leadership. El-Rufai also labeled the state of governance and opposition in Nigeria as a “national emergency.”
In a post on X, Bwala questioned El-Rufai’s sincerity, asking if he would have made the same remarks if he were still part of the government. He also pointed out the irony that El-Rufai, who was involved in forming the current administration, now seems to be working against it.
Bwala wrote, “My senior brother, if you were in the government and cabinet, would you have made the same statements? History is full of such contradictions—you’re part of a government you now seek to unseat.”
