On the women’s side, the Super Falcons competed at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, France, but unfortunately did not make it past the group stage of the women’s football event.
Banyana Banyana of South Africa and the Atlas Lionesses of Morocco are also in the running for the Women’s National Team of the Year award.
The highly anticipated award ceremony will take place in Marrakech, Morocco, on Monday, December 16.
