This evening, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, the former Governor of Abia State, shared on his official Facebook page that he paid a visit to President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the Presidential Villa.
Both men, President Tinubu and Senator Kalu, are part of the distinguished class of 1999 Governors and have enjoyed a longstanding relationship that spans over four decades. Their bond has grown over the years, solidifying their friendship and mutual respect.
Kalu made this visit known to the public through his social media account, stating, “Tonight, I paid a private visit to His Excellency, President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu in his residence.”
Currently, Senator Kalu serves as the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Privatization and Commercialization, a critical role within the Nigerian Senate.
Earlier last week, while supporting a motion focused on the aviation sector and the lackluster performance of some airline operators, Senator Kalu expressed his intention to revive SLOK Airlines, contingent upon the government’s support for his venture.
