President Bola Tinubu has made significant changes to his cabinet by relieving five ministers of their duties.
The announcement was made on October 23 by Bayo Onanuga, the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy.
The ministers affected by this shakeup include Uju-Ken Ohanenye, who served as the Minister of Women Affairs, and Lola Ade-John, the Minister of Tourism. Others are Tahir Mamman, who held the position of Minister of Education, Abdullahi Gwarzo, the Minister of State for Housing and Urban Development, and Jamila Ibrahim, the Minister of Youth.
This move marks a notable restructuring within Tinubu’s administration as it seeks to realign its goals and focus on critical national development objectives. Further details on the reason behind the dismissals and potential replacements are expected to follow.
