The Nigerian Army has begun its recruitment process for the 88 Regular Recruit Intake Exercise for both Trades and Non-Trades men and women. Below are the key details regarding the application:
Basic Requirements:
- Applicants must be single, Nigerian citizens by birth, and possess a National Identity Card/NIN slip/BVN.
- Must be medically, physically, and psychologically fit in line with Nigerian Army standards.
- No prior criminal convictions.
- Must have at least four passes, including English Language, in not more than two sittings of WASSCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB.
- Tradesmen/women must also hold relevant Trades Test/City and Guild certificates.
- Must have a valid birth certificate or age declaration from an approved source.
- Age requirements:
- 18-22 years for non-tradesmen/women.
- Up to 26 years for tradesmen/women as of 31st December 2024.
- Minimum height:
- 1.68 meters for males.
- 1.65 meters for females.
- Must possess a valid certificate of state of origin.
